TWO DAUGHTERS, ONE NAME, DIFFERENT BIRTHDAYS FOUR YEARS APART IN DIFFERENT TOWNS. A baptism is not done twice, so the ordinary reading is the ordinary Cape practice: THIS CHILD DIED, AND THE NAME WAS GIVEN AGAIN. This archive has no burial for her and states the death only as “before August 1859”.
